My family sessions are relaxed, natural and full of the things I love most about family life — laughter, cuddles, fun and a little bit of chaos. Whether we’re at the beach, in the desert or at home, I’ll gently guide you while letting the real moments unfold.
I’ll take care of the details too, from location and outfit advice to permits and keeping the children engaged. All you need to do is show up, enjoy an hour together and be in the photographs with your children.

Choosing the perfect location for your family photoshoot
We’re spoilt for choice when it comes to beautiful locations for family photography in the UAE. From the sweeping Arabian desert dunes at sunset to white sandy beaches with the Dubai skyline in the distance, there’s something for every family. For something a little more unique, we can wander through the souqs and winding streets of Old Dubai, where the beautiful morning light and pockets of shade make it perfect for daytime sessions. If you love a softer, more whimsical feel, the Al Qudra lakes or Mushrif Park offer a beautiful natural backdrop. Or perhaps the most meaningful place is much closer to home - the place where most of your family memories are made - your home, garden or favourite spot in your community.
Wherever you choose, your location becomes part of your story — creating photographs that not only capture your family, but bring you right back to this special place and this chapter of your lives.

Within 24-48 hours of your shoot you receive a link to your full gallery of unedited photos. Select favourites and add detailed editing requests if desired

Do I get to choose my favourite photos or do you?
All of the photos from your session will be added to a personalised online proofing gallery that you can access and select your favourite photos. Once your selected photos have been edited you can then download and share your favourites directly from your gallery in both high resolution for printing and web resolution for social media.
When should I book my photoshoot?
I would recommend booking at least 3 months in advance if possible to avoid disappointment. However, it's always worth getting in touch even if you want a session sooner as rescheduling and cancellations can lead to last minute availability
What happens if I need to reschedule for some reason.
No problem we can find a new date that works for you
If I choose a desert location for my photoshoot will you suggest a suitable place and will I need a 4x4 car?
During our preshoot consultation I will find out all about your family and your requirements and desires for your session and from that I will be able to recommend one of a number of perfect desert spots for our session. I will then send you a google pin to the exact location where we will meet. You definitely won't need a 4x4 to access it.
Hi. I’m Carlene, a family, newborn and maternity photographer who has been living and raising a family in Dubai for the past 20 years. My passion for photography started around 15 years ago when my own children were very young and lead to me quitting my career in teaching to become a professional photographer. For me photography is a mix of magic and art. To be able to. capture a single moment and make it last forever is truely magical; to express the beauty of a single moment to elicit emotions is art.

I know that having your family photographed can sometimes feel a little daunting, especially with energetic little ones in tow, so my sessions are relaxed, fun and never overly posed. My aim is to give you beautiful photographs that bring you straight back to this stage of family life — the messy, joyful, ordinary and completely wonderful bits that you’ll want to remember forever.
