Why Book a Newborn Photoshoot?
Welcoming your new baby into the world is the most incredible, emotional and beautiful moment in life but those early days are over in the blink of an eye, which is why capturing it through newborn photography is so important.
As a mum of two, as well as a newborn photographer with over 7 years experience, I know how quickly those early days pass. My aim is to help you hold on to the memory of them — to preserve every precious detail and feeling, before baby grows and changes.

Choosing the Newborn Photography style that's right for you
I offer three different styles of newborn photography. A natural, family centred lifestyle session; a posed studio style session; and a fresh48 session.
Lifestyle newborn photoshoot
what to expect
This style of newborn photography aims to capture
authentic, natural moments of genuine love and connection within your family, as well as beautiful individual photos of baby and all their tiny little features. Taking place in the comfort and convenience of your own home using natural light, no props and minimal posing, these sessions are a calm and enjoyable experience for both parents and baby. Sessions take between 60-90 minutes and can occur anytime in the first few months of life.
Posed newborn photoshoot
what to expect
Capture beautifully posed portraits of your newborn with a studio style finish. Professional studio lighting, and a wide range of fabrics and outfits in a range of colours ensure you can achieve the artistic feel of a studio photoshoot without leaving your own home.
Posed photoshoots take between 2 to 4 hours, which allows the session to be completely baby led. The ideal age for a posed newborn shoot is 4-14 days, when babies are naturally sleepier and curled up.
Fresh48 photography
what to expect
Taken in the first day or two of baby's life (usually in the hospital room), this photoshoot captures baby's earliest moments and the raw, pure, overwhelming love and connection between baby and the new parents. Completely natural, authentic and heartfelt - you will treasure these memories for a lifetime.

- a preshoot Whatsapp or phone consultation to discuss your desires for and questions about your newborn session
- a relaxed, stress-free photoshoot in your own home (or hospital for fresh-48 sessions).
- full proofing gallery ofunedited photos within 24-48 hours of your shoot
- beautifully hand-edited digital photos in both colour and black and white
- unlimited downloads of selected photos in both high resolution for print and web resolution for social media which you are free to share with friends and family
- a personalised gallery to select, download and share your favourite photos
- a personalised mobile app to view and share your selected edited photos.

You spend around an hour having fun with your family - hugging, playing, making memories. No forced poses, just gentle guidance and ideas to bring out the best in your photos

selecting your photos
Within 48 hours of your shoot you receive a link to your full gallery of unedited photos. Select favourites and add detailed editing requests if desired
step 4
gallery delivery
Within 10 working days of finalising your selection, your stunning personalised hand-edited gallery is delivered for viewing, sharing and saving
