Something a little different
As much as I absolutely love desert and beach photoshoots, it made a really nice change to be surrounded by greenery for this photoshoot and it also made a nice change to work with slightly bigger kids for this one. The one thing that didn't change was that lots of fun was had by all and lots of gorgeous family shots were captured. And just because there wasn't a toddler in sight doesn't mean that there weren't piggy-backs, family races and a 'big bundle' on dad.
Where and when?
Like all outdoor photoshoots, the best time of the day is just before sunset when the light is soft and pretty and the temperatures are not 'oven-like'. The best time of year is when you can be outside without your eyeballs melting, so ideally sometime between November and the end of April. The nice thing about the park is that most people generally tend to have one just around the corner - this one was a five minute drive from this family's home. Alternatively there is also the option to do it in your back garden which is even easier. And the lovely thing about Dubai is that you can plan an outdoor photoshoot months in advance and feel pretty confident that it's not going to be 'rained off'.
